If you are looking for support and understanding, connecting with an LGBTQ therapist can make a significant difference in your journey.

I bring both clinical experience and a depth of lived perspective to my work as a mental health therapist. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. These include veterans and active military members, individuals in high responsibility careers, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people navigating trauma, substance use challenges, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the military. Later, I retired after a career in high responsibility roles. These roles shaped my understanding of resilience, stress, and the psychological impact of demanding environments.

My work is grounded in trauma informed and culturally responsive care. I take time to understand the many parts of your life that shape your mental health. These include your personal identity, cultural background, values, and the environments you move through such as work, family, and community. These experiences can influence our well being in both supportive and challenging ways. Therefore, therapy is a place where we can explore those layers together.

I draw from several therapeutic approaches and tailor each session to your individual goals and needs. My style is collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. Together, we focus on understanding patterns and processing difficult experiences. We also work on building skills that support long term emotional stability and personal growth.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I care deeply about providing affirming and inclusive care for people of all identities and backgrounds. I believe people have a strong capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful change when they feel seen, respected, and supported.
