I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you are given space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in meaningful ways. Additionally, I view therapy as a partnership where we work together to better understand the challenges bringing you into therapy. We also create space for healing, growth, and change at your own pace.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, life transitions, balancing parenthood, and questions surrounding identity and self-understanding. As a Korean American therapist, I understand how culture, family dynamics, and lived experiences can shape the ways we relate to ourselves and others. In particular, I especially value supporting clients exploring themes related to belonging, self-worth, and cultural experiences. At the same time, I honor each person’s unique story.

My goal is to provide a warm and supportive space. In this space, clients feel empowered to create lives that feel more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy attending concerts, watching anime and drama, gaming, and exploring cozy cafés. However, I believe our personal interests, passions, and moments of joy are also important parts of who we are. These things help us feel connected and restored.

Modalities

My approach is collaborative and flexible. It draws from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and family systems approaches based on each client’s individual needs and goals. Together, we can identify strengths and patterns and build practical coping tools. We can also deepen self-understanding in ways that feel supportive and sustainable for you.
