Erica Goos

MA, LMHC

Washington

I’m Erica Goos and I have been helping humans be better humans to themselves and others by fostering authenticity, compassion, and purpose through transformation. I serve either as a mental health counselor, as a leadership development coach, a clinical supervisor or as a coach supervisor. My many identities deeply influence how I show up as therapist and clinical supervisor.

As a licensed mental health counselor and ICF Professional Certified Coach, I bring a unique approach to my work with all my clients and supervisee relationships. I’m a 1.5 generation Korean American. This means my core values are rooted in the experiences of growing up in an immigrant family. I’m also a wife in a bi-racial marriage and a mother of two daughters-one biological and one internationally adopted. Additionally, these lived experiences and identities are integrated into how I partner with my clients and supervisees. I invite you to bring all parts of who you are into this relationship.

I consider it a tremendous honor to partner with my clients in the deeply transformational process of therapy and clinical supervision. Moreover, I work with individuals, couples, “helpers”: leaders, coaches, therapists, those who care for others. I love working with self-identity formation specifically around race, culture, and other aspects of identities and lived experiences. I also help with career and life transitions, grief and loss, relationship issues, anxiety and depression.

As a clinical supervisor, I believe that supervision is a collaborative and reflective space to help support therapists to grow and develop in their knowledge and capacity to improve as clinicians and as a human being. As a licensed counselor and leadership coach, I especially love supporting therapists of color.
